CHAPTER (13) Muslims worship the Kaaba
Question: - When Islam is against idol worship, then what is the reason why Muslims bow down to the Kaaba in their prayers and worship it?
Answer: - 'Kaaba' is the Qibla i.e. the direction in which Muslims turn their faces at the time of Namaz. It should be noted that although Muslims turn to the Kaaba in their prayers, they do not worship the Kaaba. Muslims do not worship or bow down to anyone except one Allah. It is said in the Qur'an- "We see your faces turning upside down towards the sky. So shall we not turn your faces towards a qiblah, which pleases you, wherever you may be, you should keep your faces in that direction." Turn to the Holy Mosque." (Qur'an, 2 144) 1. Islam believes in strengthening the foundations of unity. For example, if Muslims wanted them to offer prayers, it was also possible for them to turn to the north and some to the south. In order to organize the Muslims in the worship of the only real master, he ordered that wherever they may be, they should keep their faces in one direction, that is, towards the Kaaba. If some Muslims live west of the Kaaba, they will have to turn to the east. Similarly if they are living in the east of 'Kaaba' then they have to face the west direction. 2. 'Kaaba' is located right in the middle of the world map. The Muslims were the first to prepare a geographical map of the world. He made this map in such a way that the south was up and the north was down, the Kaaba was in the middle. Later, the map of the world prepared by the western map makers was such that in comparison to the first map, its upper part was absolutely downwards, that is, the direction of north was upwards and the direction of south was downwards, in spite of this God's Thankfully, the Kaaba remained at the center of the world map. 3. Tawaf (parikrama) of 'Kaaba' is a symbol of oneness of God. When Muslims go to mosques located in Mecca - haram (reputed mosques). So they do tawaaf of Kaaba. This work is a symbolic demonstration of belief in one God and worship of only one God, because just as the circle has a central point, there is only one God to be worshipped. 4. Narration of Hazrat Umar (Rd.) There is a statement from the second Islamic ruler, Hazrat Umar (R.D.) related to 'Hajre-Aswad (Black Stone)' installed in the Kaaba. The famous book of Hadith 'Sahih Bukhari' Part - Two, Adhyay - Hajj Lesson - 56, Hadith No. According to 675 Hazrat Umar (R.A.) said "I know that (Hajre-Aswad) you are a stone. You can neither benefit nor harm anyone and I would have touched (and kissed) you, the Prophet of Allah (S.A.L.). "If I had not seen, I would never have touched you (nor) 5. People used to give ignorance by climbing on the Kaaba. In the time of the Prophet of God (Hazrat Muhammad Sall.), people used to give ignorance by climbing on the Kaaba. This is proved by history. Now those who allege that Muslims worship (worship) the Kaaba, they should be asked that if you tell, then who stands on the idol of idolater.
