CHAPTER (9) MUSLIMS ARE CONSERVATIVE AND TERRORISTS
Q: Why are most of the Muslims conservative and terrorists? Answer: - In discussions related to religion or world politics, this question is directly or indirectly thrown at Muslims. Muslims are not spared by any means of the media and widespread misconceptions are spread about Islam and Muslims, portraying them as fundamentalists. In fact, such misinformation and false propaganda often lead to violence and favoritism against Muslims. The most obvious example of this is the campaign against Muslims by the American media after the Oklahoma bombings. The press immediately announced that a 'Middle Eastern conspiracy' was behind the blast. Later, a soldier of the US Army was found guilty in this case. Now let us take stock of the allegations of Muslims being conservative and terrorists.
1. Definition of Orthodox Orthodox is a person who is accepting a belief or doctrine and following its fundamental teachings. For a person who wants to become a good doctor, it is necessary that he knows, follows and practices the fundamental rules of medicine. In other words he should be conservative in the field of medicine. For a person to be a good mathematician, mathematicsKnowing the basic rules, following them and practicing them is essential. He should be conservative in the field of mathematics. Similarly if a person wants to become a good scientist then it is necessary for him to know the fundamental principles of science, follow them and practice according to them i.e. he should be conservative in the field of science. 2. Not all conservatives are of the same type, one cannot paint all the conservatives with the same brush. Conservatives cannot be put in the same category of good or bad. The status of any orthodox will depend on his field of work and his activity in which he is orthodox. A conservative dacoit or thief is harmful to the society, hence he is disliked. An orthodox doctor, on the other hand, benefits the society so he is a favorite and gets a lot of respect. 3. It is a matter of pride for a Muslim to be orthodox. I am an orthodox Muslim and by the grace of Allah I am familiar with the fundamental principles and rules of Islam and try to follow them. A true Muslim is not afraid of being orthodox. I am proud to be an orthodox Muslim because I know that the fundamental principles and rules of Islam are beneficial to all mankind and the whole world. There is not even a single fundamental principle of Islam which is harmful to mankind. Many people have wrong views regarding Islam and consider many teachings of Islam to be inappropriate. The reason for this is insufficient and wrong knowledge of Islam. If one takes a critical (critical) view of the teachings of Islam with an open mind, one cannot deny the fact that Islam is full of benefits, both at the individual and the collective level. 4. Meaning of the word 'conservatism' in the dictionary According to Webster's dictionary, 'conservatism' was a movement started by American Protestants in the early 20th century. The movement arose as a reaction to modernism which emphasized the veracity of the Bible not only in faith and morality, but also as a literal historical record (fact). He insisted on believing that the Bible was the word of God. Thus the term orthodox was used to refer to a group of Christians who believed that the Bible was the word of God without any doubt or guilt. According to the Oxford dictionary, conservatism means "adherence to the basic principles of any religion, especially Islam." Today, at any time when someone uses the word orthodox. So the idea of a terrorist Muslim immediately comes to his mind. 5. Two different titles to a person for the same work "terrorist" and "patriot". Before India's independence from British rule, some revolutionaries who were not in favor of non-violence were called terrorists by the British government. Praised him and called him a "patriot". Thus a person was given two different titles for the same work. One is calling him a patriot and the other a terrorist. Those people who considered the British rule over India justified, those people were called terrorists, while others who thought that the British had no right to rule India, they named them patriots and freedom fighters. Therefore, it is important that before making a decision about a person, his whole point of view is listened to. The arguments of both the parties should be heard, the situation should be taken stock, the cause and purpose should be considered and then appropriate decision is taken against that person accordingly.
