CHAPTER (12) Non-vegetarian food makes Muslims violent

 Question: - Science shows that what a human eats has an effect on human behavior.  Then why Islam allows Muslims to eat non-vegetarian food?  Eating animal flesh can make a man violent and merciless.

                             Answer: 1. Only vegetarian animals are allowed to eat meat.  It is true that what a man eats affects his behavior.  This is also one of the reasons due to which Islam prohibits eating meat of carnivorous animals like lion, tiger, cheetah etc.  Consuming meat of such animals can make a person violent and merciless.  Islam only allows vegetarian animals like buffalo, goat, sheep etc. to eat the meat of peace loving animals and straight animals.                                                               2. The Qur'an says that the Prophet forbids from evil things.  In the Holy Qur'an - ".....the Prophet commands them to do good and forbid them from evil." (Qur'an 7:157) That is, the Prophet justifies for people those things which are good and holy and from those things  It prevents those who are evil and unholy." Take whatever the Messenger gives you and stop what prevents you, and fear Allah.  The Prophet's decrees are enough to satisfy a Muslim that God does not want human beings to eat all kinds of meat, so he has allowed the consumption of only certain animals.                                                                                                       3. Prophet Muhammad (sall.) forbade the consumption of non-vegetarian animals.  Wild animals with sharp teeth ie carnivorous animals.  These are animals that belong to the cat species, such as tiger, lion, cheetah, wolf, dog etc.  (b) (c) Some special munching animals, such as rat, clawed rabbit etc.  Birds of prey with sharp beak and claws like vultures, eagles, crows, owls etc.  (d) Some crawling animals like snakes, crocodiles etc
