CHAPTER (10) NON-VEGETARIAN
Question: - Killing of animals is a cruel, merciless act, then why do Muslims eat meat? Answer: - Vegetarianism has now taken the form of a movement all over the world. Many associate it with animal rights. Undoubtedly, a large number of people are non-vegetarians and others consider eating meat as a violation of animal rights. Islam instructs love and kindness towards every living being and creature. At the same time, Islam also emphasizes that Allah has created the earth, trees and plants and all kinds of creatures, small and big, for the benefit of human beings. How does he appropriately use each of the sources that exist in the form of blessings and trust. Let us consider other aspects of the fact 1. A Muslim can be a complete vegetarian. A Muslim should be a good Muslim even though he is a complete vegetarian. can. It is not necessary for a Muslim to be non-vegetarian. 2. The Holy Qur'an allows Muslims to eat non-vegetarian food. The Holy Qur'an allows Muslims to eat non-vegetarian food. The following Qur'anic verses are proof of this: "O you who believe! Perform every duty. Four-footed animals are permissible for you except those which are mentioned.Beasts, he has created them too, in which there is warmth (clothing) for you and there are so many other benefits that you eat some of them." (Qur'an, 16: 5) "And also in cattle. You are an enlightening example. Within their bodies we produce milk for you to drink, and in addition there are many benefits for you, and whose flesh you use." (Qur'an, 23:21) 3. Meat Nutritious The diet is rich in protein and non-vegetarian food is a good source of good protein. It contains eight essential amino acids which are not made within the body and which must be supplied by the diet. Iron, vitamin B-1 and niacin are also found in meat. 4. Human teeth have two types of capacity. If you look at the teeth of grass-fed animals like sheep, goat or cow, then you will find similarity in all of them. All these animals have flat teeth, which means that they are suitable for eating grass. If you look at the teeth of carnivorous animals like lion, cheetah or tiger etc., you will also find sharp teeth which help in eating the meat. If human teeth are studied then you will find that their teeth are both sharp and flat. Thus they are able to eat vegetables and meat. Here the question arises that if Almighty God wanted to feed only vegetables to man, why would he give him sharp teeth? This is proof that He has allowed us to eat both meat and vegetables. 5. Humans can digest both meat or vegetables. The digestive system of herbivorous animals can only digest vegetables andThe digestive system of carnivorous animals is capable of digesting only meat, but the human digestive system can digest both vegetables and meat. If the almighty God wants to feed us only vegetables, then why does he give us such a digestive system which can digest both meat and vegetables. 6. Hindu religious texts allow non-vegetarian food. Many Hindus are pure vegetarians. They are of the view that consuming meat is against religion. But the truth is that Hindu scriptures allow humans to eat meat. There are descriptions of those sages and saints who used to eat meat in the texts. (a) It is described in Chapter 5 Sutra 30 of the Hindu law book Manusmriti. That "these who eat the flesh of those that are edible, do not commit any crime, though they do so every day, because God Himself has created some to be eaten and some to be eaten." (b) in Manusmriti Further in Adhyay 5 Sutra 31 comes "The eating of meat is proper for sacrifice, it is said to be the rule of the gods according to divine custom." (c) Further in Chapter 5 Sutras 39 and 40 it is said that "God himself sacrificed." The animals were bred for sacrifice, so the killing was done for the purpose of sacrifice, not murder." In Mahabharata Anishana Parva Adhyay 88, a conversation between Dharmaraja Yudhishthira and Pitamah Bhishma has been mentioned about which food to bring peace to the ancestors. Donations should be made at the time of their Shradh. The context is as follows " Yudhishthira said, " O Mahabali! Tell me which thing, if offered to the dead ancestors, they will get peace? Which one? Will it last forever? And what is that which, if introduced, becomes infinite? Bhishma said, "Listen, O Yudhishthira, which are the things which are appropriate to offer in the shraadh ceremony and what are the fruits which are associated with each one? If the ancestors are offered peace for one month, if offered water, juice and fruits, it gives them relief for two months. The meat of sheep gives them peace for three months. Rabbit meat for four months, Meat of goat for five months and meat of pork for six months, meat of birds for seven months, with the meat of deer named 'Prishta' for eight months and with the meat of 'Ruru' deer they live in peace for nine months of Gavaya. For ten months from meat, eleven months from buffalo meat and for a whole year from cow meat, if the emulsion mixed with ghee is donated, then it is like cow meat to the ancestors. Years and if the meat of rhinoceros is presented to him on the death year according to the moon, it keeps him in peace and happiness forever. Herbs named Klaska, leaves of Kanchana flower and mother of red goat If it is gifted, then it is also infinitely pleasing. So it is natural that if you want to give eternal happiness and peace to your ancestors, then you should offer red goat meat. 7. Hinduism Influenced by Other Religions Although Hindu scriptures allow their followers to eat non-vegetarian food, many Hindus adopted the vegetarian system because they were influenced by religions like Jainism. 8. Life in plants too. Some religions have adopted pure vegetarianism because they are completely against the killing of animals. So I am the first person to adopt this path of life. In the past people thought that there was no life in plants. Today it is a universal truth.. that there is life in plants too. Therefore, his argument regarding killing of animals is not complete even after being a pure vegetarian. 9. Plants also suffer. further argues that plants do not feel pain; Therefore, killing plants is a lesser crime than killing animals, today science says that plants also feel pain but their screams cannot be heard by humans. The reason for this is that the inability to hear sounds in humans that do not fall in the audible range, that is, from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, humans cannot hear the sound of any object falling below or above this limit. The ability to hear up to 40,000 Hz in a dog Is . Similarly, a silent dog has a sound wave count of more than 20,000 and less than 40,000 hertz. Only dogs can hear these sounds, not humans. A dog recognizes its owner's whistle and approaches him. A US farmer invented a machine that converts plant squeaks into loud sounds that humans can hear. Whenever the plants shouted for water, the farmer immediately became aware of it. Current studies highlight the fact that plants also feel pain, sadness and happiness and they also cry. 10. Killing a creature without two senses is no less a crime. Once a vegetarian argued in his favor that plants have two or three senses while animals have five. Therefore, the killing of plants is a minor offense compared to the killing of animals. Imagine if one's brother is born dumb and deaf and has less two senses than another human. He is young and someone kills himWould you ask the judge to give less punishment to the guilty because his brother has less two senses? In fact he should say that the criminal has killed an innocent and the judge should give him the harshest punishment. It is said in the Holy Qur'an "O people! Eat what is on earth but holy and just.
